The Harwinton community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Olivia Grace Videtto, who passed away on June 1, 2026, at the age of five following a tragic accident. Though her life was far too short, Olivia’s joyful spirit, boundless curiosity, and loving heart left an unforgettable mark on everyone who knew her.
Born on July 3, 2020, in Hartford, Olivia was the cherished daughter of Tyler and Lauren (Poudin) Videtto. From the moment she entered the world, she brought immeasurable happiness to her family and all those fortunate enough to be part of her life.
Olivia embraced every day with wonder and enthusiasm. She loved meeting new people and had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel special. Thoughtful beyond her years, she noticed the smallest details and never hesitated to share a compliment, a story, or a smile. Her kindness and warmth touched countless lives within her family, school, church, and community.
A kindergartener at Harwinton Consolidated School and a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in New Hartford, Olivia was known for her love of pink and purple, her fascination with horses, and her impressive knowledge of dinosaurs. Her vibrant personality, bright smile, and endless curiosity brought joy wherever she went.
Above all, Olivia treasured her family. She shared a special bond with her beloved younger sister, Georgia, affectionately known as “Georgie.” The love between them was evident to everyone who knew them.
In addition to her parents and sister, Olivia is survived by her grandparents, Don and Emily Poudin and John and Maryann Videtto, along with her uncles, extended family, and a community united in grief and love.
Though deeply missed, Olivia’s legacy of kindness, joy, and unconditional love will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and cherished her.
