The Kewaunee community is mourning the loss of Glenn K. Teske, who passed away on June 2, 2026, at the age of 80. A lifelong resident of Kewaunee, Glenn was remembered as a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, respected farmer, military veteran, and dedicated community servant whose impact will be felt for generations.
Born on August 9, 1945, to Orme and Irene Teske, Glenn graduated from Kewaunee High School in 1963. He married the love of his life, Annette Kaye, on April 27, 1968, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, beginning a marriage marked by faith, family, and unwavering commitment.
Glenn proudly served in the United States Army and Army Reserves from 1963 to 1971. Following his military service, he dedicated much of his life to farming on the family farm. Even after retirement, his passion for agriculture remained strong as he continued assisting with field work for Ebert Enterprises.
A highly respected member of the community, Glenn devoted countless hours to civic and church activities. He served as Treasurer for the Town of Pierce and the Alaska Farmers Coop, was a member of the Board of Directors for Union State Bank, belonged to American Legion Post 29, and was honored as Kewaunee Rotary Person of the Year. Many also knew him as the enthusiastic announcer for Kewaunee High School football games and a supporter of local sports.
Above all, Glenn cherished his family. He took immense pride in his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and was affectionately known as “Grandpa Glenn” by many beyond his own family.
As loved ones gather to celebrate his life, they remember a man whose kindness, dedication, and generosity touched countless lives. Glenn’s legacy of service, faith, friendship, and family devotion will continue to inspire all who knew him.
